Info Headcaps
Spes Medica offers a complete range of electrodes and accessories to be used during EEG, EP and ERG examinations. Our products have been developed to ensure maximum signal quality and patient comfort.
EEG / International 10–20 System
The International 10–20 System is a globally accepted standard for the placement of EEG electrodes on the scalp during neurological and sleep studies.
This system ensures reliable, repeatable, and comparable results by maintaining consistency between the electrode locations and the corresponding areas of the cerebral cortex.
At EchovisionMed, we provide EEG headcaps manufactured according to the International 10–20 System, ensuring compatibility with clinical, research, and polysomnographic applications.
Configurations are available from standard layouts up to 128-channel applications, offering flexibility for advanced neurodiagnostic procedures.
EEG Materials, Connectors, and Cables
Materials
Our EEG headcaps and electrodes are available in a variety of materials to suit different recording needs and preferences:

Tin (Sn)
economical and reliable for general-purpose applications.

Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl)
the industry standard for stable, low-noise signal performance.

Sintered Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl Sint.)
designed for long-term recordings with superior durability.

Gold (Au)
ideal for high-precision, low-impedance measurements.
Connectors
We provide a wide selection of EEG connectors to ensure compatibility with various systems and amplifiers, including:

DIN 42802

Sub-D 25

Sub-D 50

MDR
Cables
Our EEG headcaps can be equipped with two main types of cable configurations:

Flat cable

Twisted cable
