gigasept® instru AF
gigasept® instru AF is an aldehyde-free disinfectant and cleaner for the manual reprocessing of medical instruments. It combines very good cleaning performance with a broad microbiological efficacy and is especially effective in ultrasonic baths with shortened contact times.

| Directions for Use | |
|---|---|
| Dilution | Dilute with cold water to obtain the required application concentration. Dosage range: 1.5% – 4% depending on required efficacy. |
| Application Example | 1 litre of a 3% working solution = 970 ml water + 30 ml gigasept® instru AF. |
| Instrument Processing | Immerse instruments immediately after use. Ensure complete covering of all surfaces, including hollow instruments, and allow to soak. |
| Rinsing | Rinse thoroughly after cleaning with at least drinking water quality, preferably sterile distilled or fully deionised water. |
| Ultrasonic Cleaning | Particularly suitable for ultrasonic devices. Very good cleaning results can be achieved after only a few seconds. Do not heat stock solution above 40 °C. |
| Standing Time | Up to 7 days if used only for disinfection of pre-cleaned instruments. National regulations may limit use when also used for cleaning. |

gigasept® PAA is a ready-to-use high-level disinfectant based on peracetic acid, designed for the disinfection of flexible endoscopes and medical instruments. It is a medical device class IIb, offering broad-spectrum efficacy without the need for activation.
